Negative taken for December 4, 1963, Arkansas Gazette article "Airport Site, Rice, Soybeans Help Build Hospital," B1:2. Arkansas County Hospital opened two days before this article was published. Land from a proposed airport was used for construction of the hospital. Profits from the sale of soybeans and rice planted on the airport land were used for the hospital. Pictured is Mayor J.S. (Jim) Colvert. The hospital is located in DeWitt, Arkansas County, Arkansas.
